Hailey is the one to watch for all things trending and leading in the makeup world now. It's safe to say this makeup artist will be looking at Hailey Bieber's posts first when opening up Instagram.

1. Glowy makeup foundation and complexion! It's time to make friends with your tinted moisturiser or BB cream again- This is a call back to Glass skin but not as intensely shiny. Think setting sprays instead of setting powders to avoid being 'too matte' this year.

As less is more has always been my mantra for makeup application I can definitely say this is my favourite trend to come back! Let those freckles and beauty spots show through. 3. Bold glossy lipsticks and lip glosses are all the rage right now! After years of wearing masks where the matte lipstick was essential and we had to hide our lips its time to have fun with bright glossy lips! Look no further than 2023's style icon Hailey Bieber's red lipstick!

4. As the TV show Euphoria has become a style lookbook of its own over the last few years it's no surprise glitter will be trending this year! What a fun year for the makeup world! Ask yourself where can I add a little sparkle today?
5. Say goodbye to liquid eyeliner and bring that smudged eyeliner back! We are going grungy as 2023 is taking heavy inspiration from the late 2000s. No longer are we searching for how to make the perfect winged liquid liner but channelling our inner goth/grunge with smokey pencil liners.

I'm curious to see how long the glossy lipstick look will last as we all slowly remember what it was like to have stray hairs get stuck on our lips. Personally, I'm super excited for the skin positivity which I am seeing in the makeup world! I love a world where we can embrace what makes us unique and beautiful like those freckles on our nose and that little beauty spot near our chin! I can't wait to see what 2023 makeup brings us!
